Telling an AU GUI to update on a parameter change

  • Subject: Telling an AU GUI to update on a parameter change
  • From: Evan Olcott <email@hidden>

As a host, I have the opportunity to change parameters in an Audio Unit while the AU GUI window is open.

I'm calling AudioUnitSetParameter, then parameter is properly changing internally, but the view (the generic view, at least, i've not tried too many others yet) does not reflect the change.

What do I need to tickle on the AU or the GUI itself to get it to reflect the new parameter value?

Thanks in advance...
