Reading AppleOnboardAudio's output buffer

  • Subject: Reading AppleOnboardAudio's output buffer

I'm trying to read the speaker's buffer. The AudioReflector example shows how to use the ClipOutputSamples to get the data, but I would need to modify the AppleOnboardAudio code (even though it is open source).

Anyone know of a user land solution? Hate inventing wheels and all that...

Thanks for your help!

There are two ways of constructing a software design: one way is to make it so simple that there are obviously no deficiencies; the other is to make it so complicated that there are no obvious deficiencies.
