We intent to add this to some future Logic release. In general it's a
good idea to file a bug report to indicate that a certain missing
feature or a bug in our software is affecting your product. This will
raise priority of fixing it.
In the meantime, using kAudioUnitParameterFlag_IsHighResolution may
make the problem less annoying.
A better workaround (more work though) is using parameter value
strings and implement an internal log mapping. When doing this it's
important to implement both directions of the value<->string mapping
as Logic allows for user input of values.
Alas both workarounds will break existing automation saved in Logic
documents.

I'm not sure if this is the correct place to post this, but I'm
wondering whether Logic will ever support the parameter mapping
flags such as kAudioUnitParameterFlag_DisplayLogarithmic in it's
automation editor. Currently, any parameters, such as filter
frequency, that would benefit from a logarithmic control law suffer
from inadequate parameter resolution when using Logic's automation
recording and editing features.
This is a critical issue for many of our users, and is currently
implemented in other Audio Unit compatible applications, such as
Ableton Live.
