QTMovie quality

Hello All,

I'm trying to use QTMovie for sound replay in an application where I need to be able to change the rate of replay.  The problem is that when play is slowed down the sound has a distinct echo, which isn't accaptable in my application.  I have programmed the same function with CoreAudio using the TimePitch format converter.  The sound is identical to what I get with QTMovie if the render quality is set to 'minimum', but sounds good if render quality is set to maximum.  I'm guessing that QTMovie, CoreAudio and QuickTime are all sharing the routines to do the TimePitch shift.  My question is this:  Is there a way to get the QuickTime movie from QTMovie and set some setting equivalent to render quality to make QTMovie have better sound output - like CoreAudio?

Thanks,
Todd
