Where is MusicDeviceMIDIEvent() documentation?

OK so I am probably asking a dumb question but I need the answer so any help would be appreciated.

I'm trying to learn CoreAudio by going through the code examples.  In Play soft midi there are a number of require_noerr calls that use MusicDeviceMIDIEvent().  I can' find any documentation for this function.  Does anyone know where it is?

Thanks, Brian
