PlaySoftMidi change instrument

I am studying the code from the example PlaySoftMidi.  When I run the code it plays using the piano sound.  I read, somewhere in the docs (I can't seem to find it again), that if you don't specify the instrument it plays the default instrument.  Which in this case is a piano sound.  How would I edit PlaySoftMidi or what kind of code would I add to PlaySoftMidi to change the instrument?

Thanks, Brian Hughes
