Brian,

I'm doing the same thing right now - except my app is mostly C++.
Therefore, Objective-C++ is necessary.

app is already in Objective-C and most of the examples use C APIs
(CoreAudio, CoreMidi, AudioQueue, MusicPlayer, etc.), why would you
ever need C++ for?
