Hi Jeff,
Since the 10.5.6 OS update we're experiencing various problems that didn't exist before with aggregate devices.
The most obvious being, you can't add sub devices to an aggregate if the current user does not have admin rights. This is also reproducible with audio midi setup.
You can create the aggregate but can't enable the sub device list check boxes. No error is returned from any of the related function calls. This is only reproducible on some machines, we haven't been able to figure out a pattern yet.
As we are getting more and more info from users reporting about the issue we will file a bug asap.
But in the mean time, can you please let us know if we are running into a known issue here and if so if there is a work around / fix for the problem.
Or did any internal behavior / semantics of aggregate devices get changed in the last OS update. Any documentation on this ?
