Controling CoreAudio device volume

  • Subject: Controling CoreAudio device volume

Hi,

We see that some audio devices (like aggregate devices combining a input only and output only device on a Mac Pro intel) loose the ability to be volume controled. What are the "rules" that define how the volume of a device can be controled, depending of the device type: built-in, aggregate device, user-land device ?

Thanks

Stephane Letz
