Sample times are completely arbitrary, relative to a time that is usually (but not always) in the past.

Hello.

I'm getting a negative sample time from a AUHAL render callback. This happens when I'm getting input from the built-in audio on my Mac Pro. The host time is corrrect.

What is the meaning of a negative sample time value?
