Hi!
We have developed a new audio mixing algorithm and want to implement it as an
Audio unit. Since we want to test the code in AULab, we want to support
sidechain inputs.
We are not familiar with Audio units. As a starting point, we implemented an
additional bus as advised in the "Bus Count and Usage" thread. Unfortunately
we are not able to connect the side chain in AULab because we can not assign
an audio input as input source in the "Audio Unit Sidechain Settings" dialog
(as it is suggested in the AULab help). The source selection button "Audio
input" is disabled, and "None" is the only available option. This issue also
occurs when we use the AUMerger unit.
How can we connect a track or bus to the sidechain input? We have not found a
similar issue in this list yet.
Furthermore, we would like to know if there is some example code for a mixer
or a sidechain effect available.
Thanks in advance,
Volker
