So far I've only been using AUMusicalDevice's for input - they all support stereo outputs - so I set the format of all of the matrix mixer's inputs to support stereo, then mix the pairs to end up with same signal on both outs (I don't want or need stereo).

Now, mapping to inputs on a MOTU ultralight, I just want to map one mono jack to an input on the matrix mixer. Do I just set the stream format on the matrix mixer's input channel to be one channel? Or do I need some intermediate adaptor AU to convert from mono to stereo?
