64 bit AU does not show up in AULab

  • Subject: 64 bit AU does not show up in AULab

Hi,

I am a beginner with AudioUnits and I just finished my first one for the purpose of
visualizing spectral data (It is based on the "Audio Unit with Cocoa View"-template). So, I apologize if I am
asking trivial questions.

I have tried to compile my AudioUnit 64bit by enabling the architectures in Xcode. I disabled
the "Open in 32 bit" checkbox for the AU Lab bundle, but still, I am not able to see my AudioUnit.

In an older thread I have read about a known resource issue that was introduced with Xcode 2.5 when building universal,
might this be a similar case with Xcode 3.0 and 64bit universal? Unfortunately the thread did not go into detail about the issue.

Maybe I am just missing some parameters in the "Other Rez Flags" similar to "-d ppc64_$ppc64 -d x86_64_$x86_64" (those
did not help).

Thanks,

Heinrich
