Problems with QuickTime and JackRouter

Hi,

We experience "crackle" problems (like 1 sample missing from time to time) when playing a test sine file with QuickTime using the JackRouter user-land driver, more precisely:

- test sine played with QuickTime (tested with 7.3 an latest 7.4.1) crackle when played on JackRouter, tested with several sample rate and buffer sizes.

- same test sine plays correctly with VLC or iTunes using JackRouter

- same test sine plays correctly with QuickTime directly using Built- In device

So it seems a bad interaction between QT and JackRouter. What would be a reasonable manner to debug this problem?

Thanks

Stephane Letz
