ExtAudioFile and updating

Hi,

Been searching high and low, but I can't seem to find any information on whether updating ExtAudioFileRef is supported, i.e. reading frames, do stuff to those frames, write frames back in same file location.

I seem to be getting no-ops. I'm not getting any errors, and I am at the end of my tether...

Does anyone on the list know if this scenario is supported? I feel I've spent enough time going down this seemingly dead-end street... :D
