Auval doesn't work on intel powerbook

Hi all,
I am developing a plug-in using an intel power book, and I noticed
that auval doesn't recognize my audio unit. Testing the same component
with my old iMac (powerpc) results in passing validation without any
problem, but now I would like to work on my new intel mac.
I read in this mailing list about other people with the same problem,
and I followed the suggestions made in previous threads (such as
checking the "Other Rez Flags" in the build configuration of the
project), but it still doesn't work.
Does anyone know the way to solve this problem?
