AUval Gloabl Parameter Test Error.

  • Subject: AUval Gloabl Parameter Test Error.

Hi,

My AU will validate on MacIntel/OS10.4  but NOT on G5  PPC/10.4
The Global Parameter Test on both system returns a list of
WARNING: retrievedValue = 0.0000(was 1.0000), Parameter did not retain maximum when set

The AU is actually depending on another application X before it can interpret the parameters and act accordingly.
At creation I set default values to all my parameters. Then I buffer any parameter change into a queue. When applicattion X "is ready" I then use a callBack to request to the host a change of parameter with the queued value.

Under Auval the application X isn't ready on time and the returned value are my default set, which are different to the values Auval has set and which I have saved into the queue.

Is there a setting in AUval in order to get only ( MacIntel):
WARNING : Parameter values are different since last set -probable cause: a Meta Param Flag is NOT set on a parameter that will change......PASS

 instead of (PPC)
ERROR: Parameter values are different since last set -probable cause: a Meta Param Flag is NOT set on a parameter that will change......FAIL

Thanks,

Charles
