I think you're on the right list. I'm using AULab on a regular basis
and I too have experienced problems, especially involving the file
player unit under Leopard on a dual 2GHz G5. When loading saved
projects it would not show its UI, so you can't load any files into
it. This only happens sporadically - if you re-load the project a
couple of times it usually works after some time. Other than that I
have found it to be very helpful.
Another good host for minimal testing is RogueAmoeba's AudioHijack Pro
(you'll find it if you google the name) which I also use quite often
for quick tests.
