I have succesfully managed to record and playback all of the formats supported by the iPhone (i.e. iLBC, IMA-4, linear PCM, ULaw and ALaw) using AudioQueue services. The only problem I'm having is playback of apple lossless. I think I am recording it ok because I can succesfully take the recorded file and play it for example in the mac QuickTime player. On the iPhone however I get no audio and a message on the console saying:

unknown kernel[0] <DEBUG>: ERROR a total of 1decode errors occurred in the last buffer.

I've followed the code in the SpeakHere (fixing it so that it can handle compressed audio formats) and aqPlay example but so far have no luck.
