Hi Daniel

I feel your pain. I reported a bug for a serious Xcode problem a month ago and it's still open since the 10th October with no sign of any progress (6283771). I appreciate that Apple must get snowed under with bug reports, and no doubt many of them prove to be non-bugs after investigation, but people will lose all faith in the bug reporting system is Apple can't smarten up their act somewhat. It surely can't be to Apple's advantage if users like us give up reporting bugs altogether. Meanwhile, I have a class of students who keep getting hung up waiting for the bug I reported to get fixed....

This bug is filed as 5635229 since months now without any response whatsoever. Could someone try to reproduce this, please?

On 29.05.2008, I complained again about total unresponiveness about this issue.

Meanwhile, all occurences of this thread seem to have been purged from the mailing lists archive online while the bug is yet unfixed in 10.5.5 and the ticket's state is still 'Open'. The most annoying thing is that people keep getting back to me claiming it's a bug in my driver. But as others experienced the same thing with different hardware, I doubt that's the reason.

Could anyone please tell me why this ticket isn't taken care about?

Thanks and best regards,
Daniel
