Thanks, now I see it. Compared to a ASBD, the "missing" field is mBytesPerFrame, which of course can be computed.... I suggest Apple should put a big fat exclamation point in the CAF doc.... it's easy to just say, oh sure, the AudioStreamBasicDescription and miss the difference.... _______________________________________________ Do not post admin requests to the list.
