CoreAudio or Quicktime

Hi All,

I have never used Core Audio. I am trying to write a ring-tone maker. I was doing well in QT, but running into issues cliping out the section I wanted for the ring-tone so that I can pass it to LAME and encode it.

Someone mentioned Core-Audio for this.

Does anyone have a tutorial, reference , or example on how to accomplish this?

Thanks,

-Jason
