Custom parameter display transformations

  • Subject: Custom parameter display transformations

Hi,
I want some of my parameters to be displayed in a special way. I use kAudioUnitParameterUnit_CustomUnit and define a custom unitName which works fine. But I don't see any way to define the display transformation method. I can only use the predefined flags (e. g. kAudioUnitParameterFlag_DisplayLogarithmic). Of course I could use a 0...1 generic parameter and define custom parameter strings but that would mean I would have to convert my values between "real world" and generic all the time. I think it would be much easier just to define a display transformation method. Is there any way to do this?
Thanks, Paul
