kAudioDevicePropertyIsHidden

Hello all,

I'm new to Mac audio, but recently I've gotten a project that involves traversing all the audio devices on a system. Looking at the properties that I can retrieve for devices, I see this one: kAudioDevicePropertyIsHidden. The documentation says that hidden devices cannot be discovered except by knowing their UIDs.

Does anybody know any way to find out if there are any hidden audio devices installed or running on a system?

Thanks ....
