Quicktime for Windows sound capture

  • Subject: Quicktime for Windows sound capture

Hello,

I am working on an application that will capture audio using the sequence grabber under Quicktime for Windows. It appears the SGAudioMediaType is not available, so I am using SoundMediaType.

I am processing the captured audio data in a custom data proc that is set using SGSetDataProc.

My question is, how do I determine the stream format of the data returned in the capture data proc? I am having trouble locating reference documentation for sound under Quicktime for Windows.

Best regards,

Jim Heintz
