get time position of audio file played in the host

Hi, everyone:
I want to retrieve the current time position when the host plays an
audio files in my AU. Does anyone know what function should I call? I
am not sure the OSStatus CallHostMusicalTimeLocation (
UInt32* outDeltaSampleOffsetToNextBeat,
Float32* outTimeSig_Numerator,
UInt32* outTimeSig_Denominator,
Float64* outCurrentMeasureDownBeat
) in AUBase class is the right one?
