Creating Aggregate Devices programmatically

Hi Dave,

I found your page "Creating Core Audio aggregate devices programmatically" http://www.thismuchiknow.co.uk/?p=51, but after some test (adapting the code to aggregate a capture and a playback device...), the resulting aggregate device does not work correctly. So some questions :

1) Is the code maintained and still correct?

2) Is there a way to remove the created aggregate device when the calling process quits?

3) Alternatively is there a way to create aggregate that stay "private" for the calling process and disappear when the calling process quits?

4) What is you experience about those "dynamic aggregate devices"? Is the overall method reliable?

Thanks in advance.

Stephane Letz
