Hi Bill,
I just took a look at the documentation and found this:
kAudioUnitProperty_MeteringModeA read/write UInt32 value that indicates enabled or disabled metering on a particular scope/element. Available in iPhone OS 2.0 and later. Declared in AudioUnitProperties.h.
Is this just a mistake?
