you are running this in 64bit or 32 bit? I really have no idea why
this doesn't work - the best thing would be to file a radar and we can
try to reproduce the problem

Actually, that's exactly what I meant by "took my custom volume unit
out." Basically, I get no audio out when I have a graphicEQ in the
graph, with or without my custom unit.
We have had no troubles that I am aware of with the EQ, so I don't
see how that can be an issue, but you could certainly also try
inserting other audio units - say the bandpass AU.
Yeah, I assume it's *supposed* to work. Do you have any suggestions
as to other things to look for? Is 64-bit a problem?
