-50 is paramErr (it's defined in MacErrors.h in the CarbonCore
framework).
It means one of the parameters passed to AudioFileStreamParseBytes is
wrong. Which one, however, is another story...

When I try to resume playback, AudioFileStreamParseBytes() is
returning -50. This return code is not listed in the section on Audio
File Stream result codes, and I have not had any luck finding it
elsewhere.
What does this result mean?
