Using MallocDebug with Audio Units

  • Subject: Using MallocDebug with Audio Units

I can't get MallocDebug to load the symbols for my AU. I've compiled
with symbols on, debugging works fine, etc. MallocDebug shows symbols
for system stuff (e.g. new[], CoreAudio stuff, etc) but not for any of
my AU code.

Any suggestions? Or alternate ways to do "mark"->"update" style leak
detection? It doesn't show up as a leak in "leaks" so I'm probably
holding a reference to this somewhere.
