On Leopard yes.

On Snow Leopard you won't find sample code here. Instead, we have the
shared code (AUPublic, PublicUtility) in /Developer/Extras/CoreAudio

The sample code is downloaded from the developer web site - there
should be a link at http://developer.apple.com/audio
