playback of purchased music in iTunes via core audio

Hi All,

Maybe I just performed a bad test - but I received an authorization error from my app when I asked it to extract audio via the Quicktime Audio extraction API's for a data file contained in iTunes.

I'm using the iMediabrowser framework from Karelia to locate media, which is then dragged into my app - and I then want to be able to play back the music via core-audio from within my app's project. Obviously there's a loophole here for people to write s/ware that bypasses the DRM protected music.

Can I use core-audio to play back iTunes DRM'ed music?

Thanks
