This is a special case of 'how can I get gapless playback between two MP3 files', aka "why are there dropouts between tracks when I play my ripped 'Ibiza Ultimate Trance Chill Party 2K8' mix?" iTunes used to have this problem until version 7(?), upon which there was much rejoicing by audiophiles (and ravers).
It's actually kind of a tough problem. There's even a Wikipedia article about it now. I believe you can approximate gapless playback by decoding the audio and skipping empty samples at the beginning and end, but I haven't tried it.
(I've heard it alleged that AAC either doesn't have this problem or is less subject to it; you could try encoding your audio that way and see if it helps.)
