Hi, all

I'm now developing a software synthesizer as an Audiounit. I did certain things just as written in the tutorial, and it seems to be working fine.

But I couldn't find out how to specify 2 parameters below in AUResources.r and left them untouched. Can anybody give me some detailed information about them??

1. RES_ID
How this value is used by the system or host applications?
And how to decide this value?  Can choose an arbitrary value?
If so, what range the value should be in?

2. VERSION Should be set according to the "Version" value appears in the target's property? If so how to translate "xx.xx.xx" style of version expression into 8- digit hexadecimal?
