Writing .m4a files using ExtAudioFile?

  • Subject: Writing .m4a files using ExtAudioFile?

I've been unable to figure out the right combination of types and flags to write useable AAC (.m4a) audio files using ExtAudioFile. Presumably the fileType to use is kAudioFileM4AType, but are there other types or flags I need to configure in the stream description to make the contents readable by e.g. iTunes?
