I think you want to have a look at the OpenAL implementation, it will do all of this.  There is a pretty good sample project for this on the developer site (name escapes me)

Newbie to Core Audio and might have to use it for an iPhone app we're working on.

We need to do the following:

-adjust playback rate of a sound track
-adjust pitch of the sound track
-adjust tempo of the sound track

Can Core Audio be used to do these tasks??
