EnableSource not being called for Network Sessions (MIDI Driver)

  • Thread-topic: EnableSource not being called for Network Sessions (MIDI Driver)

It appears that EnableSource() is not being called when a network session is
enabled in Audio MIDI Setup. At least in 10.5.6, that is.

Is this a known issue? Is there any way for a MIDI driver to know that a
network session is listening to one of its MIDI Endpoints?

In my case, my MIDI driver needs to know if anyone is listening to a
particular endpoint so that data can be routed to it internally.

Thanks in advance.
