Hi,

I'm noticing that when I offline render an acc file to lpcm the samples in the output file are shifted by ~4.5 ms. I get 4.5ms of zeros then my waveform. Is this expected?

Yes

I get the same results on the simulator and iphone. I'm also noticing apple's offline rendering sample code doesn't pull all the rendered data out of the queue (mFlushed flag stops the loop, but doesn't ensure all the data has been offline rendered).

you can trim this out (its called priming in a CAF file) - I posted about this a couple of weeks or so ago under the subject of looping compressed files.
