rioAudioUnit and FormatConvert

Hi; I need some info ( pointers to sample code or tutorial ) in order to use the remote IO AudioUnit and the FormatConverter Audio Unit together. I'm not sure which elements to connect and how to connect them. Do I need to use AUGraph ? If yes, there is any sample on using rio AU with AUGraph ?
