there are two alternatives there:
- AUParameterSet (which both calls AudioUnitSetParameter for

bill - big thanks. Host code all fixed up, things working properly for
all tested plugins, not just the expensive ones ;)
And you've every right to be super-proud of the event listening
architecture - fantastic piece of design.
