Hi,
Thanks for the suggestion. Console just locks up on me, the only way
out of the spinning coloured ball is to force quit. Attempting to
start-up in safe mode also did not progress past the grey spinning
cog. However the machine reboots normally (without holding the shift
key) and appears to function normally.
I am running some further diagnostics, but it would be really helpful
to be able to get into the console.

Robert,
Check the system log to see what is happening. If you could send it
to me, I would be happy to take a look. This is the first time I
have heard a report of this problem.

Hi,
Sorry if this is off-topic.
Is there any where to get basic help/troubleshooting for AU Lab
2.0.1? I'm running on an 8-core Xeon in 10.5.8 and can only get AU
Lab to display a blank grey window. Following the configuration set
up dialogues as per the documentation ie. adding an
AUAudioFilePlayer instance via the edit menu (or any other AU)still
just leaves a blank window.
The application appears to open-run-quit properly and sees my
Tascam FW-1884 interface, just won't create any tracks, busses or
visual environment that resembles the documentation's examples.
thanks
