crashing while stopping bluetooth

  • Subject: crashing while stopping bluetooth

Hi,

I have an iphone application similar to aurioTouch that records
sounds from mic and plays it back. I enabled Bluetooth headset
(kAudioSessionProperty_OverrideCategoryEnableBluetoothInput) and it
works OK: records the sound and plays it back. However when I try to
stop the AudioUnit either by doing AudioUnitOutputStop or by
decomposing the unit, I almost always get application crash. The call
stack for the crash is not quite human readable (it hints that it is
still trying to pull sound data from headset output). I never have
this problem if I am using standard wired headset.

My question is: are there any special tricks to stop the audiounit
while it's running with bluetooth? Do you see this happening?

 Thanks
 Sergey
