Anyone have experience using the sample code from Apple to record
audio? The "RecordAudioToFile" example here:
http://developer.apple.com/mac/library/samplecode/RecordAudioToFile/listing1.html
I've tried it out, fixed up some deprecated calls, but notice a
bug. When I play the audio file, via Quicktime player, or Quick
Look, the reported time length of the audio is not accurately
reported. I'll record just a few seconds of audio, but these
players say that the audio is ~15 or 20 minutes in length. The
audio is recorded, just reported length is wrong.
Any idea what might cause this?

Look like a bug in QuickTime X (and QuickLook). QuickTime 7 reports
the good duration (as iTunes and the afinfo tool).
