iPad no Analog/Audio input, What are the options?

Since there is no Analog input on the iPad like there is on the iPhone/iTouch.

So I am just wondering since we have no seen any new Lingo Specs, if the Digital Audio USB Lingo is going to be expanded to handle Analog/Audio input sampling?
