Not sure if this email belongs on the Core Audio list or some

I am developing a USB audio device and am working hard to make it
properly compliant with the class definition 1.0.
We have implemented the device following the synchronous endpoint
model, so the device internally locks its ADC clock to the SOF
signal. This has been tested and appears to work accurately.
You might try asking your questions on Apple's USB mailing list.
Even though your device firmware is working on many computers, there
still could be a flaw. It is often the case that USB devices will
work with other platforms but fail on the Mac, and the verdict
usually ends up being that the device is not truly USB compliant
while the Mac is perfectly compliant. In your case, I realize that
your device also works with many Macs and even with older versions of
OSX, but it still seems like there is not a clear cut case for which
end is responsible.
There are some audio hardware developers here on the CoreAudio list,
but I've seen far more detailed USB audio discussions on the USB
list. You might find more help there.
