I will check this project out.  Although I know understand the data is in an interleaved format, I will gladly check out the project.  Reading the documentation and comparing examples to what I've read gives me a better understanding of how some things work.

There is a reader class in Stephan Bernsee's iPhone time stretch
project that unmangles the channels, you might want to check it out:
