Maybe a routing/channel issue?

I don't think so since I do not do anything beyond the standard template.

auval says that validation succeeds. He also tested it with Wave Editor, and he still gets no sound. He only hears a noise that the demo version makes once in a while. However, the rest of the code is the same as in my other plugin which works fine on his system. Weirdness...
