Hello, slightly vague question and on a Friday afternoon too.

Is there something special I need to know about passing CFStringRef objects via the AU properties mechanism?

OK I found this tech note "Audio Unit Properties and Core Foundation Data Types" which seems to answer my question.

I'm getting a lot of memory related crashes at the moment and some odd behaviour with strings. Often I'm passing a CFStringRef as a member of a struct object.

Any pointers appreciated,
Thanks,
Stephen
