Audio Unit not showing up after auval

Hi all,

I am trying to follow the tutorial on Apple's Audio Unit Programmin Guide. I followed every steps, but TremoloUnit.component

does not show up after 'auval -a' . It does not show up in AU Lab's Effect menu either. I can see TremoloUnit.component both

in /Volumes/Macintosh HD/Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/Components and ~/Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/Components folders.

Does any of you tried the tutorial? Know what's going on?

I saw previous similar questions years ago, but those solutions didn't seem to work for me, so my apology in advance.
